Welcome to N-Gage Academy

Necedah Schools is proud to announce that we were chosen in a competitive grant process to open a public charter school, N-Gage Academy!  Charter schools provide additional choices for students within their public school district. Our federally funded charter school will open its doors in September 2019 within the existing Necedah school building.  

N-Gage Academy will provide a unique learning experience that incorporates service opportunities, community partnerships, and project-based learning to encourage students to have a voice in their education. N-Gage Academy will foster an environment for innovation and choice by focusing on these four areas:

Powerful Learning Strategies
Student choices expand learning through new experiences and self-reflection

Citizenship
Practical connections to the world beyond the school walls through service learning projects

STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics)
Fostering a student’s curiosity and reasoning while  instilling a love of learning

Critical Thinking
Blending imagination, exploration of real-world problems, and teamwork
